This trip was planned to take eight days where we were to leave on Saturday 22nd August 2009 at six o'clock in the morning and arrive home sometime on Saturday 29th August. The group consisted of Sally & myself and John leaving in two vehicles from Adelaide South Australia and meeting up with Kerry, his son Clinton and Roxy, Uncle Frank and Jenny, Mellissa as well as Peter and his son all from Port Augusta South Australia.

With five vehicles in total, we were all looking forward to an enjoyable last winters week as we ventured off through the Gawler Ranges before going to Pildappa Rock and onto the Googs Track. From the Googs Track we would head to Glendambo to shower and refuel before returning home via the Gawler Ranges and Charlings outstation.
