Just Cruisin with Mick and Sally

Adelaide to Alice Springs & most places in between.

August 17th 2007 until September 9th 2007

For this trip, our group consisted of Bruce and Maree of Adelaide South Australia who join us a great deal of the time when we are away with our caravans and Sue and Malcolm of Booleroo Centre in the Southern Flinders Ranges of South Australia who joined us for the first time on this sort of trip.

Once we leave Port Augusta on our way to Alice Springs, there are not too many places in between that we do not visit and have a look at such as The Breakaways, the Painted Desert, Lambert Centre, Yulara, the Olgas, Rainbow Valley, Chambers Pillar and the MacDonnell Ranges while at Alice Springs just to mention a few. This journey covered a total of 6157 kilometres.

To make it easier to navigate through the pages on this trip, particularly the photos, we have indexed both the daily diary note pages into three section and the photos into one page each per location to assist with page loading speeds. Click on the links below to open each section.

We have put together a tour expenditure sheet which will show both fuel prices and accommodation costs where we stopped at Caravan Parks. Click on the pdf logo to view our trip Tour Expenditure Sheet.

Like our Big One in 2004, we have saved our memories to DVD for keep sake. With five hours of footage on a total of three DVD's, it will be interesting to look back on in years to come.

During the trip, it was good to hear from and to and meet some people who follow this web site, both on the two way radio and in person and we wish them all well in their travels.
