Friday April 23rd 2010: As I didn't finish work until 6:00pm, it was a late start for Sally and I as we headed for Port Vincent where we were to spend the Anzac weekend with Dion and Samantha as well as Troy, Renae, Madeline and William. Leaving home at 6:30pm, it was a busy road that lead us to Port Vincent where we finally arrived and set up just after 8:30pm.

Saturday April 24th 2010: After everyone had finished their breakfast, it was decided that we would take the 30 odd kilometer drive over to Minlaton where the girls could have a look at the craft shop and spend a few dollars on those necessary craft items that they thought they would not be able to purchase near home. It was still mid morning when we had finished at Minlaton so it was decided that we would take a scenic drive around the peninsular by heading to Point Turton before returning home via the Troughbridge scenic coastal drive and then onto Edithburgh, Wool Bay, Stansbury and finally back to Port Vincent where we arrived during the late afternoon. The weather was a mixed bag for us during the afternoon with some dust, a lot of wind and the occasional shower of rain.

Sunday April 25th 2010: Bruce and Maree rang during the morning to say that they were on their way over from Adelaide to visit for the day. They arrived just before lunch time and spent the afternoon with us sitting in warm sunshine after an early early morning shower of rain. Our nights were now starting to get cold with cold starts each morning until the sun started to shine. During our weekend here we had some of the best hot donuts that you could buy which we got from the local beach Cafe at a very reasonable cost of $3.50 for six. Although the Park wasn't fully booked out during the weekend, there wasn't many vacant sites as soon as one caravan would leave another would arrive.
