Friday November 5th 2010: Our weekend at Clare was to enable us to attend our Niece's wedding at the Bungaree Station on the Saturday as well as being a weekend away with the caravan which had not been used since May of this year. Bruce & Maree who were going to do a bit of doggie baby sitting at Clare for both of our dogs as well as Renae and Troy's dog were to take there caravan as well until their Patrol developed gearbox problems on the Monday prior. A big thank you to Bruce and Maree who still attended the weekend at Clare all be it in a cabin for the weekend. It was a short run to Clare with it only taking an hour and a half to travel the short distance north seeing us arrive during the mid afternoon. Renae,Troy, Madeline and William all arrived early evening to set up along side of our caravan where we enjoyed the traditional happy hour.

Sunday November 7th 2010: Madeline was sick leading up to yesterdays wedding and was still no better today so Renae and Troy headed for home where they thought Madeline would be happier in her own bed until she recovered from her sickness. Although Sally wasn't very well for the entire weekend, she manage to cook the remainder of us all a roast chook for lunch before everyone departed for their respective homes. With only Sally and I now left at Clare, it was a lazy afternoon for us watching a DVD and doing not much else.

Monday November 8th 2010: Being all packed up by 8:15am we were soon heading for home where Sally had a doctor's appointment to see why she hadn't improved over the weekend only to find out that she had a reaction to the tablets that were prescribed. With a nice wedding that we attended, family sickness and some mechanical issues that some had, it will be a weekend to remember for some time. |
